Globe Control Valves for Critical Process Applications
Precision control, long service life, and industry-grade performance for demanding flow, pressure, and temperature applications.
Engineered for industrial plants in Energy, Marine, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Water, and Process Automation
High-Performance Globe Control Valves: Engineered to ASME & EN Standards
Nordenflow globe control valves are engineered for precision modulation and stable process control, meeting the strict requirements of ASME B16.34 and EN 12516. With a modular design optimized for interchangeability, these valves are built for seamless integration into plants requiring ISA 75.08.01 face-to-face dimensions.
Supporting pneumatic, electric, and electro-hydraulic actuation, our range is designed to maintain ANSI/FCI 70-2 Class IV, V, or VI leakage rates. Whether your process involves high-pressure steam, cryogenic liquids, or corrosive gas, these valves provide predictable Flow Coefficients (Cv/Kv) and long-term seat integrity.
Engineered for Severe Service:
–Cavitation Control: Specially designed multi-stage trims to prevent erosion in high-pressure drop liquid services.
–Noise Reduction: Perforated cage trims to ensure compliance with plant noise regulations.

Commercial Advantages for Industrial Operators:
1. High-accuracy modulation:
Engineered for tight control in dynamic processes, minimizing energy waste and maximizing output quality.
2. Low maintenance, low lifecycle cost:
The modular clamping seat system enables quick trim replacement without special tools, reducing downtime and maintenance OPEX.
3. Noise & cavitation control:
Multi-stage and low-noise trims maintain stable flow even under severe pressure drop conditions — protecting piping and equipment. anti-cavitation trim, multi-stage pressure reduction, low-dB trim.
4. Flexibility across processes:
Suitable for steam, condensate, fuel gases, chemical media, abrasive slurries, and thermal oils.
5. Full compatibility with modern control systems:
Supports smart positioners, digital feedback, and integration into advanced control architectures and SCADA/DCS systems.
6. ATEX, SIL, PED options for regulated industries:
Ideal for energy production, LNG, petrochemical plants, and hazardous-area operations.

—-Valve Signature Report: A detailed prediction of performance, including cavitation analysis and dynamic response.
Technical Corner:
The Science of Sizing We calculate the required Flow Coefficient (Cv) using standard ISA equations to ensure your valve operates in the “Sweet Spot” (typically 20%–80% open):
Where Q is flow rate (GPM), SG is specific gravity, and (ΔP) is pressure drop (P₁ – P₂).
Why this matters: Incorrect sizing leads to Cavitation (where P < Pvapor and bubbles implode) or Choked Flow. We provide a full Valve Signature Report to predict and prevent these failures before installation.
